Rancho Ricco  is nearly 200 acres of some of the most beautiful views in the mountains of the Peninsula Nicoya.   At once pastoral and tranquil with its rolling hills, and yet breathtaking in its sweeping views of the Gulf of Nicoya, Isla Chira and the smaller islands surrounding.   Every nook and cranny of this ranch offers its own unique landscape and view.    Bordered by a vast nature reserve, the property has an abundance of springs and two streams with waterfalls.  So abundant is its water supply that the property provides half the water for the entire town.

All this privacy in a pristine setting is located less than 15 minutes from Carmona, the largest town in the Canton of Nandayure, an hour from some of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches on the Pacific Coast and 20 minutes from the Gulf, where a boat may be moored and kayaking is amazing.   The ranch holds a variety of wildlife, wild and domestic animals including twenty horses, over 7 1/2 acres of teak, many rare and endangered hard woods, and a great variety of fruit trees including, mangos, papayas, avocados, rose apple, cashew, coconut and other palms, and a wide variety of citrus.  Ginger and yucca grow wild for the picking.

Located on this magnificent ranch is a guest lodge consisting of 8 rooms, a very large and impressive kitchen, a spectacular rancho with views of the gulf (a large circular thatched roof structure which can comfortably hold forty people for dining, dancing, or seminars), Plenty of hot water and some private baths.
